                    Stanaway’s is a micro‑distillery built on precision, heritage, and the belief that small batches make better spirits. Every drop we produce is distilled in Whitehaven — a coastal town shaped by industry, resilience, and the sea. Our spirits reflect that character: bold, honest, and crafted with intention.

              We work in 50‑litre batches or smaller because flavour deserves attention. Each fermentation is monitored with lab‑grade control, every cut is made by taste and data, and every batch is logged, analysed, and refined. Nothing leaves the still unless it meets our standards for clarity, aroma, and depth.

Our approach blends traditional distilling with modern technique. From yeast selection and fermentation profiling to careful management of esters, congeners, and barrel influence, we treat distillation as both a craft and a science. The result is a range of spirits that carry the weight of Whitehaven’s history and the precision of contemporary distilling.

               Whitehaven’s heritage runs through everything we make. This is a town built on coal, iron, salt, and the sea — a place that powered ships, industry, and trade routes that reached across the world. Our rum nods to those maritime connections.
